Our Directors, former associates of "Big 4" CPA firms, have more experience in international tax matters than the majority of partners in the larger international firms.

Our Staff also possesses the specialized knowledge, and is committed to a world class personalized service philosophy that converts our expertise into results for our clients.

The Wolf Group serves individuals, multi-national corporations, joint ventures, and international organizations. Our senior staff are invited to speak regularly at a variety of International Organizations such as The World Bank, The International Monetary Fund, IFPRE, OECD, ILO, as well as at large and small multinational corporations in the U.S. and abroad.


Leonard S. Wolf, Director

Mr. Wolf began his career with the international public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand. He established The Wolf Group in 1983, and has directed its growth into the premier Washington-based CPA firm specializing in international and expatriate taxation.

Mr. Wolf is a regular speaker at various international organizations in the U.S. and abroad. His clients have included foreign government ministers, first family members, and other civic, business, and political leaders. Mr. Wolf has served on the Virginia Society of CPAs' International Tax Committee, has chaired several professional conferences on international taxation, and has represented the Washington, DC area in trade missions abroad. He currently serves as Deputy Chairman of the International Tax Committee of Nexia International*, an international organization of CPA and investment firms. Mr. Wolf holds the CPA designation, and is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.

Robert D. Len, Director

Mr. Len began his professional career with the international public accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Bob holds a Masters of Taxation degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He has provided counsel in the areas of financial planning, taxation, and business development to a wide variety of individuals and businesses throughout his professional career.

Bob is regularly invited to speak to audiences in the U.S. and abroad on estate planning and income taxation matters. He currently serves as Deputy Director of Nexia International, an international organization of CPA and investment firms. Mr. Len holds the CPA designation.


Dale Mason, International Tax Director and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Mason's 20-year career in taxation has been spent with The Wolf Group and with Big 4 firms highlighted by 15 years of specialization in expatriate taxation. He is the tax technical resource for the Wolf Group and has worked extensively with international organization and expatriate clients, and on issues ranging from the "Exit Tax" to Foreign Bank Account Reporting matters. His expertise partially derives from 4 years living as an expatriate in Poland, where he assisted Fortune 500 companies with expatriate tax matters. After returning to the States, Mr. Mason became one of the few U.S. expatriate tax technical specialists for a Big 4 firm. Mr. Mason is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara


Michael Goodson, Chief Investment Officer

In over two decades on Wall Street with a number of investment organizations, Mr. Goodson has been a sell-side equity analyst, a buy-side portfolio manager, and spent 11 years at Smith Barney as an equity market strategist for the firm's Private Client Group. Drawing on his successful ventures in both the U.S. and Asian markets, Mr. Goodson has advised investors at all levels of experience and sophistication and most recently opened the world of investing to more novice investors through his personal blog and online postings. Mr. Goodson holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and an MBA from the Columbia Business School.
