Title: International Corporate Tax Manager
Reports to: Director of Tax

Job Summary
The person selected for this position will have responsibility for managing all of the corporate engagements for the firm, including planning the engagements, assigning staff, global tax planning and compliance, assuring the quality of the services provided and exploring the non-compliance planning and consulting services desired by these clients. Practice development, systems development and operations are also important aspects of this position. This is a highly entrepreneurial position.
Duties and Responsibilities
The International Corporate Tax Manager can expect to focus his or her efforts in the following areas:
- Planning corporate tax compliance and consulting engagements to assure timeliness and quality of service. The firm has a number of large multistate pass through entity clients in which compliance is required not only at the business entity level but also at the individual level. These engagements require significant planning.
- Technical consulting on domestic corporate tax matters such as entity selection, year end planning, state tax planning, etc. and international corporate tax matters such as controlled foreign corporations, passive foreign investment companies, organizational structure, transfer pricing, etc.
- Managing, training, and mentoring staff.
- Developing new business through marketing efforts to Nexia member firms and through our already existing network of contacts.
Qualifications
The International Corporate Tax Manager position typically requires the following qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years experience in an international corporate tax planning and compliance environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and supervise staff
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; MS Taxation (preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant
- Strong technical and research skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Client first attitude
- A team player with a strong desire to learn new areas within the corporate taxation area
- Desire/ability to work successfully in a rapidly growing boutique Firm environment
- Desire/experience to be involved in developing new clients and service offerings
