The Wolf Group’s Tax Services Director, Len Wolf, and Wealth Management Director, Bob Len, attended Nexia International’s annual conference in Dubai, UAE, from November 10th to 13th. The Wolf Group is an active member of Nexia International, the 10th largest global network of independent accountancy, tax, and business advisors with over 20,000 professionals in 600 offices spread across over 100 countries.

The conference was held in Dubai’s Grand Hyatt hotel, with over 200 attendees from 71 countries. The theme for this year’s conference was “Nexia International as a Resource,” with a focus on business opportunities worldwide. Subjects discussed at the conference included how Nexia members can better serve international tax and audit clients and how the Nexia International Secretariat could better support the members to facilitate better interaction and knowledge sharing among members.

Featured speakers at the conference included various leading business figures. Arif Naqvi, the CEO of Abraaj Capital Ltd., spoke about the opportunities for investment and realities of operating in the Middle East and Africa region. Robert Sawhney, Managing Director of SRC Associates Ltd., spoke on Building a Successful International Practice, and Jules Muis, former Vice President and Controller at the World Bank, presented on the topic of Financial Stability and Prospects for the Future. Mr. Muis also joined other Nexia leaders in a panel discussion on how international networks like Nexia can position themselves to take advantage of opportunities not being addressed in the accounting and financial fields today.

The Wolf Group understands our client’s need for global tax support and that is why we are a proud member of Nexia International.
